Project Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining project documentation.

Assist in the development and monitoring of project work plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to established goals and objectives.

Coordinate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including partner organizations, community members, and funders.

Assist in organizing project events, workshops, and field visits, including logistics coordination and participant management.

Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of project data and outcomes, contributing to monitoring and evaluation efforts.

Contribute to the development of project proposals, reports, and other documentation as needed.

Assist in identifying and addressing challenges and opportunities for project improvement and innovation.
Location:
Yaoundé, Bafia, Bamenda, Bandjoun
Duration:
Full-time Contract; 1 year with possibilities of renewal depending on the availability of Funding
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. international development, project management, social sciences) preferred.

Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software/tools.
